On August 20^th, Zhong Yuhong, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Xi‘an Petroleum University, visited ZPEC Oil & Gas for an exchange. During the visit, he conducted an on-site study of the Company’s development, explored opportunities for deeper university-enterprise collaboration, and extended greetings to outstanding alumni currently working at ZPEC. The two sides held in-depth discussions on multiple fronts, including talent cultivation, internship bases, job placement, and continuing education. A broad consensus was reached on cooperation.

Wang Liang, Director of the Student Affairs Department of the Party Committee and Director of the Career Guidance and Entrepreneurship Center at Xi’an Petroleum University, and Li Xuesong, Senior Vice President of ZPEC Group and General Manager of ZPEC Oil & Gas, along with other leaders from both sides, attended the meeting.

Zhong Yuhong elaborated on the University’s institutional development, academic discipline construction, talent cultivation, and the progress made in building a “first-class, cultural, and happy” Xi’an Petroleum University. He noted that this visit gave him a tangible sense of ZPEC’s robust growth momentum, well-defined development blueprint, and vibrant atmosphere of dedication and entrepreneurship. He expressed sincere gratitude to ZPEC for its long‑term commitment to recruiting graduates from the University and providing a quality platform for employment and career development. Looking ahead, he expressed his hope to further deepen university‑enterprise cooperation by leveraging models, including joint cultivation of outstanding engineers, co‑established internship and training bases, and industry‑customized talent development programs. These initiatives, he added, aim to precisely align with the company’s job requirements, enhance students’ job adaptability and professional competence, and continuously supply high‑quality talent to ZPEC. At the same time, he stated that the university will establish a regular exchange and cooperation mechanism to foster mutual empowerment and win‑win development between both sides. He concluded by wishing ZPEC a flourishing business and encouraging all alumni working at the Company to fulfill their duties conscientiously and strive for even greater achievements.

Li Xuesong extended a warm welcome to Zhong Yuhong and his delegation while providing an overview of ZPEC’s development planning, business landscape, technological innovation, and workforce development. He noted that the Group is making every effort to build itself into an internationally renowned high-tech comprehensive energy enterprise, with its domestic and overseas businesses steadily expanding, which has created an urgent demand for high‑caliber versatile young talents. Xi‘an Petroleum University, he added, has contributed 87 outstanding graduates to ZPEC, most of whom have grown into core business professionals and become a vital force driving the Company’s high‑quality development. He emphasized that ZPEC supports the rapid growth of young employees through a variety of models, including mentorship programs, on‑the‑job training, specialized development initiatives, and overseas assignment opportunities. Going forward, ZPEC will continue to optimize its talent development system and deepen university‑enterprise collaboration by leveraging cooperation models, such as order‑based classes, joint training programs, and continuing education, with a view to precisely cultivating versatile talents and building a solid talent foundation for the Company ‘s high‑quality development.

At the meeting, Wei Kenan, HR Manager of the Administration and Human Resources Department of ZPEC Oil & Gas, presented the Group’s and the Company’s recruitment plan for 2027. Representatives of former alumni of the University and graduates of the Class of 2026 spoke in turn, sharing their academic experiences at the University and their growth and achievements since joining the Company. They expressed deep gratitude to both their alma mater and to ZPEC for the dual cultivation they have received. All of them stated that they will bear in mind the University’s motto and ZPEC ‘s “Iron‑Blooded Journey” spirit, stay committed to their respective posts, and continuously deepen their expertise in their professional fields. They pledged to give back to their alma mater and contribute to ZPEC’s development through practical dedication and responsible performance.
