On August 12th, 2026, ZPEC Oil & Gas and SLB Technical Service (Chengdu) entered into a Collaboration Agreement at ZPEC's headquarters in Shanghai. This collaboration, commencing with the procurement of survey tools, is intended to further enhance mutual trust, progressively deepen cooperation, and achieve mutually beneficial development in the future.

The signing ceremony was attended by Li Shiguang, President of ZPEC Group, Wei Mingguo, General Manager of ZPEC Drilling & Oilfield Services, Guo Hongwei, Deputy General Manager, Zhang Shu, General Manager of SLB North Asia Reservoir Enhancement Group, Chang Cheng, Sales Director, and Shan Yu, Sales Manager for New Business Cooperation.

Zhang Shu pointed out that SLB had evolved over a century from a traditional oilfield service provider into a global energy technology enterprise. He underscored the strong strategic alignment between the two enterprises, noting that ZPEC's agile private-sector mechanism and full-spectrum industrial chain capabilities were highly complementary to SLB's technological leadership and global reach. This synergy, he added, positions both companies to collectively navigate the complexities of geopolitics and industry volatility.

Li Shiguang extended a warm welcome to Zhang Shu and his delegation. He noted that the signing of this agreement represented a pivotal move in ZPEC's execution of its "Three Directions" and "Three Integrations" corporate strategies, which are designed to drive low-cost, high-efficiency development through full value-chain integration. Li further highlighted that ZPEC's steady demand from six ongoing oilfield development projects offers substantial opportunities for expanded engagement between the parties. He expressed his expectation for the near-term rollout of technical training programs and the swift commissioning of the survey tools, while looking toward the medium-to-long term to intensify exchanges between the Chengdu and Shanghai production bases, to deepen mutual understanding, and to uncover additional avenues for collaboration.
