Recently, Zhang Xiangtao, Camp Manager of ZPEC Rig 23, received a certificate of commendation from Schlumberger in recognition of his solid and meticulous safety management work in camp operations.

In his daily work of camp maintenance, equipment coordination, and ensuring the living and working standards of rig crew members, Zhang Xiangtao acts without delay. He responds to client feedback at the earliest opportunity and never waits for instructions when faced with difficulties. Instead, he proactively seeks solutions and drives implementation. He places great emphasis on proactive hazard identification. Before each weekly camp inspection, he organizes self‑inspections and corrective actions. In response to the frequent breakdowns of aging equipment in the Western‑style kitchen, he addresses many potential issues before even being identified by the client. 

In terms of catering supervision, although the dining services are operated by a third‑party service provider, Zhang Xiangtao still checks the quality of every meal, promptly addresses issues such as substandard ingredients, and strictly upholds food safety standards. Given the high incidence of infectious diseases in summer, he leverages his previous medical work experience to conduct daily morning inspections of hygiene conditions in the camp area, ensuring the health and well‑being of all crew members and preventing any health issues from affecting on‑site operations.

Zhang Xiangtao stated that this commendation from the client not only recognizes his personal efforts but also demonstrates the professional, pragmatic, and proactive image of ZPEC's overseas teams. He will continue to fulfill his duties and fulfill corporate responsibility through concrete actions and living up to the Company's trust.
