On June 15th, ZPEC Oil & Gas held the 2025 University Student 'Mentor-Apprentice' Commendation Ceremony, where 20 outstanding mentors were recognized for exceptional guidance and dedication, furthering the tradition of "passing on experience, providing assistance, and guiding the next generation," strengthening the foundation of the Company's talent pipeline, and fully stimulating the internal drive for innovation and dedication among young employees.
The ceremony was attended by Li Xuesong, Senior Vice President of ZPEC Group and General Manager of ZPEC Oil & Gas, along with the Company's senior management team, department managers, outstanding mentor representatives, and 2025 graduate employee representatives.
At the ceremony, Mr. Li fully affirmed the solid achievements of the Mentor-Apprentice talent development program over the past year and expressed sincere gratitude to all mentors for their selfless teachings and patient guidance. He emphasized that the program serves as a vital vehicle for the Company’s technical knowledge transfer. Frontline practical experience, including oil production operational techniques and on-site emergency response, relied on hands-on, face-to-face instruction from the experienced mentors. He expressed the hope that the mentors would continue to uphold the fine tradition of passing on knowledge and nurturing the next generation, while encouraging the young employees to take the initiative in pursuing diligent study and accelerating their professional growth. By continuously developing high-caliber professionals and building a stronger technical backbone team, the Company would fully support the implementation of the Group's strategic plan, comprising the "Major Transformation, Major Adjustment, and Major Development" initiative and the "Two Major Campaigns and Four Critical Battles”, thereby contributing greater strength to the Group's high-quality development.
During the recognition ceremony, the Company presented certificates of honor and special awards to the outstanding mentors on-site. Subsequently, representatives of the outstanding mentors and the 2025 university graduate employees took the stage in turn to share their experiences. Mentors spoke about their frontline teaching insights, while the apprentices shared their reflections on professional growth. The exchanges fully demonstrated the positive spirit of solidarity and mutual growth between mentors and apprentices.
