On June 15th, ZPEC Sichuan successfully obtained two authoritative certifications from the American Petroleum Institute (API). They are, separately, a new product certification for fixed-cutter drill bits under API-7-1 and an upgraded certification for plug valves under API-7V. The acquisition of these new certifications marks a new milestone for the Company in product R&D, manufacturing, and quality management, while also unlocking more advantages and opportunities for the Company's participation in global market competition.

In March of this year, the American Petroleum Institute dispatched a professional audit team to the Company's facilities for a comprehensive on-site review. The auditors conducted in-depth inspections across R&D, quality control, and production workshop areas, rigorously verifying product design plans, raw material control, manufacturing processes, finished product inspection records, and the entire chain of quality management systems against API international standards. Facing stringent audit requirements, ZPEC Sichuan successfully passed the on-site audit, thanks to its mature management systems, superior manufacturing process, and consistently reliable product quality.

As a leading domestic manufacturer of petroleum equipment, ZPEC Sichuan has been deeply engaged in international markets for many years, steadily advancing its qualification portfolio. Since first obtaining API monogram license rights in 2008, the Company has continuously aligned itself with advanced international standards and consistently optimized its quality management system. All subsequent re-certifications and license renewals have been successfully completed, securing the qualification foundation essential to its international development. Building on this foundation, the Company has leveraged its mature production and quality control capabilities to expand its certification categories and enrich its product portfolio. In May 2025, in addition to completing the API certificate renewal process, the Company also obtained new certification for the power swivel PSL 2 standard under API-8C, which signifies that the relevant product technologies have reached an internationally advanced level. To date, the Company holds seven API certifications—API-7-1, 8C, 4F, 7K, 16C, Q1, and API-7V, covering multiple core areas including drill bits, wellhead valves, power equipment, and masts, establishing a comprehensive international qualification system.
