On April 25th, ZPEC Group hosted its second batch of the year of employees, totaling 11, from Tenge Oilfield in Kazakhstan for study and idea exchange at ZPEC Equipment’s Chengdu production base. This ongoing effort, taken by the Group to bring key Kazakhstan staff to China for study, follows the first batch of trainees in March this year. Through close observation of the process from R & D and design, to manufacturing, inspection & test, installation, and commissioning of high-end equipment, the trainees deepened their understanding of petroleum equipment and effectively enhanced their professional technical skills.
The training focused on core equipment
application scenarios for oilfields, integrating on-site observation with
technical explanation to precisely meet the actual production needs of the Tenge
Oilfield in Kazakhstan. The trainees visited the electric control workshop, top
drive workshop, PDC drill bit production workshop, downhole tool commissioning
area, fabrication workshop, and drilling rig final assembly site. Accompanied
by technical experts, they systematically learned about high-end petroleum
equipment independently developed and manufactured by ZPEC. The technical staff
explained design concepts, manufacturing technologies, performance parameters,
and key points for maintenance, while providing technical Q & A based on
the actual operations of the Tenge Oilfield, helping trainees deepen their
understanding of equipment’s technical advantages and
application scenarios.
During the training, the employees observed attentively and engaged in in-depth discussions on the practical questions arising from frontline operations with the technical personnel. The advanced manufacturing technologies, strict quality control system, and comprehensive technical service support at the Chengdu Equipment Base left a deep impression. Ombassarov, the oil production supervisor of the Tenge Oilfield and a trainee representative, stated that through this on-site learning, he gained a more intuitive and comprehensive understanding of ZPEC’s technical strength, as well as clearer ideas for the efficient application and maintenance management of oilfield equipment. He said he would apply what he learned to practical work, helping to improve production efficiency and quality.
In addition to training, they also visited the Chengdu Research Base of Panda Breeding, Taikoo Li commercial district, Dujiangyan Irrigation System scenic area, and other places for sightseeing. While experiencing the charm of China’s excellent culture firsthand, they also strengthened their sense of belonging and identification with ZPEC.
After completing their training at the Chengdu Base, they will travel to China University of Petroleum (East China) and Beijing to continue their exchange and learning activities. Through multi-dimensional learning experiences, they will further consolidate their professional knowledge, broaden their business horizons, and deepen their understanding of Chinese culture and development achievements.
Since entering the Kazakhstan market, ZPEC Group
has consistently regarded overseas employee training as an important part of
its corporate culture building and talent development, organizing successive
years of study, exchange, and cultural experience activities for Kazakh
employees in China. From equipment manufacturing bases to oilfield operation
sites, from technical skill improvement to corporate cultural identification,
this series of regular training and exchanges has not only cultivated a group
of high-quality, specialized technical backbones for Tenge Oilfield, but also
built a bridge of communication between Chinese and Kazakh employees, promoting
mutual trust, equal cooperation, and joint development. (By Hao Donglei)
