On November 21st, amid the loud whistle, the cementing of Well FNHW4031 of ZPEC Team 7's drilling operation was completed, marking the successful end to the Mahu Xingjiang Project in 2020. Team 7 has performed outstandingly in this year's drilling and production and has been highly recognized by Mahu Oilfield. On the day of the end of the project, Mahu awarded them the "Mahu Oilfield Outstanding Contribution Award" to show appreciation and encouragement.

Since entering the Mahu Oilfield in early 2018, ZPEC Team 7 has achieved remarkable results in drilling wells while improving speed. In 2018, they achieved 2 openings and 2 completions, 4 openings and 4 completions in 2019, and 5 openings and 5 completions in 2020. They were considered the key benchmarking team of the Mahu Oilfield by Karamay Drilling Company.

From March 17th to November 21^st, 2020, Team 7 started drilling 5 wells and delivered 5 wells. The annual footage was 21,262 meters, an increase of 5,670 meters from last year. The first well, FNHW4033, in Block 4, the team lost 14.5 days due to the fractured formation of the Badaowan Formation. They were able to sum up this experience and from lessons learned, greatly reduce the complicated processing time in the later stage 4 wells. The subsequent 4 wells all broke the daily footage records. Under the premise of ensuring down hole safety, they improved speed and efficiency in all aspects. The drilling cycle of the FNHW4032 Well was 23.71 days, which was 22.29 days less than the planned design.  The drilling cycle of Well FNHW4031 was 22.88 days, which was 18.12 days less than the plan.  The daily footage of FNHW4031 in the horizontal section was 222 meters, setting a record for the highest daily footage in this block compared to the same period last year. At the same time, the DBS Drill Bit and Screw were used to achieve the impressive results of drilling the 1,653m horizontal section in three passes.

The completion of Well FNHW4090 was hindered in Xinjiang due to the COVID19 various checkpoint controls. The Project and Drilling Team 7 united as one and overcame the huge difficulties of personnel, materials, and transportation restrictions, and tried every means to ensure the smooth progress of production. In this year's downturn in the industry, with the efforts of the Drilling Company and Project Leaders, ZPEC Team 7 used a shorter construction period than last year, created greater results than last year, and delivered satisfactory answers to the company.

ZPEC Drilling Team 7 is the final team of the Mahu Project. It was safe and accident-free throughout the year. It has completed various indicators and tasks efficiently and with high quality. In 2021, the Team will complete the breakthrough of 6 openings and 6 completions, and contribute to the continuous growth of ZPEC.
