On the morning of March 3, 2023, with the drilling depth of 1,112 meters in the second section of Aksu Oilfield’s Hong-59 Well, ZPEC Rig 14 exceeded the total annual drilling footage of 10,000 meters, thus becoming the first ZPEC team in 2023 to achieve this milestone.

Hong-59 Well is the fifth well drilled by ZPEC Rig 14 this year. Since the start of the Drilling Competition, organized by ZPEC Drilling Company this year, the various teams have been striving to outdo one another. ZPEC Rig 14 has actively pushed forward the implementation of various tasks, conducted technical briefings in advance, improved drilling parameters, and selected better drill bits. This has greatly improved drilling speed and created more benefits for the company. Mr. Luan Xi-rong, Rig Manager of ZPEC Rig 14, said, "This achievement is inseparable from the coordinated organization of the company and the project, and is also due to the mutual support and supervision of the integrated team. In the Aksu Oilfield development campaign, various units have helped each other and shared resources, providing Rig 14 with a lot of support, which has enhanced the team's confidence and boosting the morale of the employees."
