After passing the pre-qualification of PEMEX Equipment Supply and Equipment Leasing, on March 9, 2023, there was good news from Kuwait. Zhongman Petroleum Equipment Group Co. Ltd (ZPEC) successfully passed the pre-qualification of Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) for providing drilling rigs and rig parts, laying a solid foundation for ZPEC to enter the Kuwaiti market.

This time, ZPEC was approved for Masts, Sub-structures, Crown Blocks, Traveling Blocks, Hooks, Swivels, Rotary Tables, Draw-works, Mud Pumps, Power Catwalks, and subsequently for the associate major drilling equipment's OEM category, in the Appendix B of Development Drilling and Workover KOC Tenders for supplying 550HP, 650HP, 750HP, 1000HP, 1500HP, and 2000HP rigs.

Kuwait Oil Company, as a world-renowned oil giant, implements very strict pre-qualification standards for management, quality, HSE, etc. Through the multi-dimensional review of ZPEC's technical strength, after-sales service, and quality control, ZPEC finally passed KOC’s pre-qualification. Since then, ZPEC has become one of the few companies in the world that has obtained the dual qualifications of both the drilling rig manufacturer and the drilling engineering service provider for KOC.

In recent years, various ZPEC products have successfully expanded to Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Oman, Kuwait, Germany, Nigeria, Egypt, and other countries, and are highly recognized by customers at home and abroad.
