At 3:16 pm of July 2nd, 2021 Iraqi local time, ZPEC Rig 26 passed the inspection by Party A and obtained drilling permission, then spudded successfully in the high temperature and heat wave of more than 50 degrees. This marks ZPEC once again embarking on a journey to the Rumaila Oil Region, following the successful completion of the first phase of the drilling contract for the BP Project.

On May 21, 2021 ZPEC Rig 26 officially received a notice from Party A to approve the relocation. With the full support of ZPEC Headquarters and ZPEC Iraq Branch, all the soldiers of the team  overcame many difficulties and completed the relocation and rectification in 42 days. This was 30 days earlier than the schedule required by the contract and 37 days earlier than the start of the first phase of the project, breaking the record in that block.
