On October 26th, the 70DB Drilling Rig, designed and manufactured by ZPEC for Nigeria's Charlvon Limited, successfully shipped from ZPEC’s Shanghai Lingan base.

In October 2019, ZPEC Group signed a drilling rig sales contract with the Nigerian customer. At the beginning of this year, because of the unexpected epidemic, the world's oil drilling industry was severely affected. The construction progress of Nigeria's drilling rigs were also suspended in accordance with customer requirements. The project was restarted in late September 2020, as Charlvon urgently needed drilling rigs. In order to meet their needs, employees at all levels at ZPEC’s Shanghai headquarters adhered to the corporate philosophy of "efficiency is benefit", scientific deployment, and unity and cooperation. At the same time, the company's complete design system and meticulous service also helped to smooth the progress of various acceptance tasks. Under the circumstances of tight time and heavy tasks, all departments worked together to ensure that the products were manufactured, loaded, and shipped on schedule.

This set of equipment for Charlvon is a cluster drilling rig. In order to meet the needs of mountainous and rainy season operations, the company’s technical staff has painstakingly designed, optimized, and tailor-made it for Charlvon. The rig derrick adopts a modular design, which is suitable for mountain transportation and rapid relocation. The F1600HL High-pressure Pump Set meets the technological requirements of high-pressure drilling. The Solid Control System is equipped with a rainproof shed and a pedestal for the generator room to ensure the electrical safety during rainy season operations. The Telescopic Cable Rack does not need to be disassembled for transportation, saving time and effort. The TDS500Ⅰ ZPEC Top Drive is compact, easy to install, and reliable in quality.

This is the most recent of ZPEC’s shipments after the Anton 70DB Drilling Rig, the German Automatic Catwalk, and the SinoTharwa 750 Workover Rig.
