On August 18th, the 70DB Drilling Rig, designed and manufactured at ZPEC’s Lingang Base for Anton Petroleum Shale Gas Project, providing strong support for Anton Petroleum to enter key national new energy development projects.

The drilling rig will operate in the Luzhou Shale Gas Block in Sichuan. Based on the principles of technological innovation and cost reduction and efficiency enhancement, ZPEC brings together the strengths of the three manufacturing plants in Shanghai and Chengdu, and organizes technicians and manufacturing teams to optimize the design of the drilling rig according to the terrain and drilling characteristics of the work site, improve the technology, and tailor it. It is built to ensure the needs of operating in a special environment with high sulfur resistance and provide customers with quality services.

Since the beginning of this year, the unexpected outbreak of COVID19 has severely affected the oil drilling industry, causing the original planned delivery date to be postponed. With the improvement of the domestic epidemic situation and the gradual recovery of the oil and gas industry, customers urgently need drilling rigs to drill wells. Under the unified arrangement of the Equipment Group, Shanghai Equipment quickly organized personnel to count the materials and pack the trucks. The shipment was completed quickly and efficiently in only three days.

This 70DB Drilling Rig has a reasonable structure and complete functions. It is equipped with 375 drill disks and 450 traveling blocks. The derrick adopts a modular design, which is suitable for mountain transportation and rapid relocation. It is equipped with three F1600HL high-pressure pump sets and is powered by a 1200KW AC motor with 24 rows of narrow V belts. The maximum working pressure is 52MPa, which meets the technological requirements of high-pressure drilling. The equipped TDS500Ⅰ ZPEC Top Drive has the characteristics of small size, convenient installation, reliable quality, and easy maintenance under the same hook load torque.
