On May 19^th, Deputy Secretary of the Xindu District Committee of the CPC, Ms. Pan Jie, and her group visited the Sichuan Kunlun Petroleum Equipment Manufacturing Company base.  Their purpose was to acquire detailed knowledge of the company’s operations, to care for the staff, and to address the government’s policies concerning bottlenecks at the company.

The investigation consisted of Party Working Committee Secretary, Director of Management Committee, Mr. Yan Jialin, Vice Director of Management Committee, Mr. Li Jian, and related officials from the Economic Services and the Information and Investment Promotion Bureaus.  During the inspection, Ms. Pan and her group visited the machining workshop, the steel structure workshop, and the assembly site.  They listened to an introduction by ZPEC Vice Manager Mr. Chen Keli about the production capabilities and the management of the enterprise.  Ms. Pan Jie was very impressed and gave a hearty appreciation for the development of ZPEC.

At the end of their visit, Deputy Secretary Pan Jie expressed the hope that, while improving economic benefits, the ZPEC Chengdu Base would enhance their management capabilities for safety and for environmental protection. She continued by demanding that the officials in the CPC Party Working Committee and Management Commission in Industry Zone would actively stay connected and further communicate with the enterprise and to provide excellent government service work. （Reported by Hao Donglei）
