On August 15, ZPEC Team 1 successfully accomplished an oil well of 2955m in Dingbian and creates a new record of single well footage in Jiyuan Block and breaks another record of ZPEC Drilling Company in Shanbei area as well.

The average footage of oil and gas wells at Jiyuan block is around 2700-2800 meters. Well Ding5184 is the deepest one by now. Although it’s only about 200m deeper, not a drilling team would dare to touch this “hard bone” when assigning of well sites because of its complicated situation underground. Finally, the oil-field company entrusts the heroic and skilful ZPEC Team 1 with this important task to challenge the extreme penetration depth of 2955m with a 3000m drilling rig. During the whole process of production, the whole staff carefully analyzed the statics of neighbor wells and made out a targeted measure and explicit and rigorous construction scheme and constantly consummated the hazard plan on every aspect. Starting with every little segment of production, this team meticulously organized the production by strictly implementing the order of the oil-field company, tightening up with technical measures and standardized operation on each occupation.
