On August 25th, ZPEC Group Central Asia Energy Tenge Oil & Gas Company and the Almaty Campus of Satbayev University held a university-enterprise cooperation symposium. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on topics involving educational assistance, local talent development, and the fulfillment of corporate social responsibility.

At the meeting, Amralinova Bakytzhan, a representative of Satbayev University, affirmed the Tenge Oilfield’s long-term commitment to educational assistance. She stated that Tenge Oil & Gas Company’s educational assistance work has been long-term, stable, and practical, effectively solving local students’ real difficulties in pursuing education, thus effectively supporting the university’s talent development efforts and providing strong support for Kazakhstan’s reserve of local professional talent. It fully demonstrates the responsibility of a Chinese-funded enterprise to take root locally and give back to society.

As a Chinese-funded enterprise deeply rooted in the Central Asian market, ZPEC Tenge has always been deeply integrated into the overall framework of Belt and Road cooperation. While steadily advancing safe oil and gas production, ensuring a stable local energy supply, and supporting local economic development, it has proactively fulfilled its overseas social responsibilities, continuously invested in local public welfare, and supported education and people’s livelihood development. In the 2025–2026 academic year, Zhongman Jenge Oil & Gas Company implemented targeted educational assistance, funding a total of 22 students from financially disadvantaged families. This effectively eased the students’ tuition and living pressure, helped ensure they could complete their studies, and provided practical support for the cultivation and reserve of local talent in oil and gas, economics, and other fields.

Going forward, the Company will use this exchange as an opportunity to further deepen comprehensive university-enterprise cooperation and broaden collaboration into diverse areas, including student internships and practical training, targeted job placement, and joint talent development to achieve complementary resources and mutual benefits between the university and the enterprise. Satbayev University was founded in 1934. It is a leading public science and engineering research university in Kazakhstan and one of the country’s oldest and strongest technical universities. The university has established strengths in oil and gas engineering, geological and mining engineering, and economics and management. It has long supplied highly qualified professionals to Kazakhstan’s energy sector and serves as a core institution for cultivating energy-industry talent in the country.
