At 2:00 AM on June 7^th, Well Ga-E183P, drilled by Rig 22 of the Iraq ZPEC-Petronas Project, was successfully completed and handed over in 59.08 days. This achievement set a new block record for the fastest well completion of similar wells. With outstanding performance featuring safe and controllable operations, excellent quality, and high efficiency, ZPEC Drilling once again demonstrated its strong drilling capabilities.

Well Ga-E183P is a complicated four-spud S-shaped directional well, with a completion depth of 3,525 meters and a maximum inclination of 57.93°. The trajectory was difficult to control and the construction technology requirement was high. At the beginning of the project, the rig team faced multiple challenges, including a long rig move period, project losses, personnel adjustments, lack of technical proficiency, and high safety pressure. Wang Xinyu, the platform manager who rushed from the Zubair Project to support the team, organized all members to deeply study the drilling design and standardized operating procedures. He closely monitored key points during operation transitions, actively coordinated with the client, and scientifically arranged the construction sequence, thereby building a solid management foundation for efficient construction.

During the construction, all team members performed precise operations and optimized parameters. Spud one and spud two were each completed in one run using one bit. Spud three achieved the entire section in only two runs, and spud four was successfully completed in one run. The cementing, intermediate completion, and finishing operations were smoothly connected, and all passed one-time acceptance inspection.

Next, Rig 22 of Petronas Project will summarize and consolidate the construction experience gained from the operation. The team will continue to strengthen safety management, equipment operation and maintenance, technical optimization, and cost control. By persistently working to improve quality and efficiency, they will spare no effort to achieve new drilling successes.
