On May 17th, a research team from the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) visited ZPEC Oil & Gas, carrying out an in-depth examination of the company's energy industry layout and operational status. The team encouraged the enterprise to focus on its core business, improve quality and efficiency, and help drive the upgrading of the regional energy industry as well as high-quality local economic development.

The research meeting included Liu Zhongxian, Secretary-General of the NDRC Academic Committee, and Research Fellow, Tan Yongsheng, Vice Director of the NDRC Institute of Industrial Economics and Technical Economics, and Research Fellow, Jia Ruoxiang, Director of the NDRC Comprehensive Research Division of Land Development and Regional Economy, and Research Fellow, as well as officials from the Prefectural Development and Reform Commission and Wensu County Development and Reform Commission, Li Xuesong, Senior Vice President of ZPEC Group and General Manager of ZPEC Oil & Gas.

The research team visited the ZPEC Wenbei CPF, where they heard reports from Li Xuesong on the company's overall development, the basic situation of Wensu Block, and the production capacity construction project of the Wen-7 Block. They gained detailed information about the company's production and operations, progress in oil and gas exploration and development, its role in driving local employment and improving people's livelihoods, and long-term strategic planning and other key tasks. In-depth discussions were held on topics, such as industrial quality improvement and upgrading, efficient resource utilization, and coordinated industrial development.

The research team fully affirmed ZPEC’s achievements in focusing on its core oil and gas business, supporting regional energy development, and contributing to the local economy. The team pointed out that the company should closely follow national energy development strategies and policy orientation, leverage the advantages of regional resources and location, tap the potential of oil and gas resources, and accelerate the release of high-quality production capacity. This will further deepen integration with local communities, create jobs for the local residents, and transform resource advantages into economic strengths, thereby contributing to local energy security and economic development.

Li Xuesong expressed sincere gratitude to the NDRC and development and reform commissions at various levels for their continued guidance and strong support for the company's growth. He stated that ZPEC would firmly seize development opportunities, go all out to advance its production capacity projects, deeply integrate into local development, continuously strengthen cooperation with local communities, consolidate its operational foundation, and enhance the quality and efficiency of its development, striving to make solid contributions to the transformation and upgrading of the regional energy industry and the high-quality development of the local economy.
