On November 17th, as 15 trucks loaded with drilling rig components slowly drove out of the Kunlun Company’s gate, it marked the successful shipment of two rigs. Once they arrive in Xinjiang, they will provide reliable equipment guarantee for ZPEC's large-scale development in the Wensu Block.

The upgrade and transformation of these two sets of drilling rigs coincided with the severe need of domestic epidemic prevention work. Under the situation of tight time and heavy tasks, the company worked overtime while continuing to improve the internal quality of products during epidemic prevention work in order to ensure that all requirements were met.

Because of the heavy workload to upgrade from 40 liter to 50 drilling rigs, there was a need to replace a large number of parts and materials. In order to save as much money as possible, from the beginning of the design, Kunlun Company started making full use of existing materials and re-tailoring the equipment.  This not only met the use requirements, but also saved money.

After the two drilling rigs arrived in Wensu, they were delivered to ZPEC Drilling Company’s Team 1 and Team 3. The upgrades of these new rigs further met the exploration needs of the Wensu Block and provided reliable equipment guarantees for the large-scale development of the Wensu Block.
