At Iraqi local time 18:00, July 3rd, ZPEC Drilling Team 19 smoothly delivered Ga-A17P well of Garraf project and entered moving procedure. By then, ZPEC drilling teams has fulfilled its task in Petronas turnkey project successfully. The project entered completed well testing stage.

Ga-A17P well was spudded in from 9:00 May 26, 2015, with 2794m drilling depth, 41 degree max well deviation and 38.38 days completion period, 11.62 days ahead of the schedule. The well construction period is the shortest in the 7 wells finished in Petronas project, achieving first-level in contruction speed in this block.

ZPEC not only showed its speed advantage in this well, but also performed greatly in the engineering. Supervisor and Director of Company were satisfied with the operation level and safety control in the well drilling, and gave praise in several meetings. The compact combination of drilling crew, cementing crew and completion team ensured safety of downhole operation and the quality of cementing and completion. Safety regulations were emphasized constantly and each employee was strictly required in safety. No personnel or equipment accident occurred. Safety questionnaire survey and promotion were carried out according to the safety department of Petronas, improving the safety consciousness of staff from the aspect of safety awareness and safety culture construction.

No LTI has happened since the commencement of Petronas program, and safety production has lasted for 401 days(LTI free days 401) by the Drilling Team 19 delivered the well. ZPEC acquired a certificate of honor awarded by Company when the safety production reached 500000 working hours. The quantity and quality of STOP cards grated first among drilling crews in Garraf block. 5 wells finished, all of which met the design requirements. The non-production time(NPT) of 2 wells among the five is less than 1% and the construction period of the other 3 wells is averagely 10 days ahead of the designed period.
