At 9:30 AM Iraq local time, on February 18th, 2025, ZPEC held its kick-off meeting for the East Baghdad North (EBN) and Middle Furat (MF) Oilfield projects at the Babylon Hotel in Baghdad, Iraq, marking the official launch of the development and production work for these two oilfields.

The meeting was co-chaired by Mr. Faris, Chairman of the Joint Management Committee (JMC) for the EBN Oilfield, and Mr. Sadra, Chairman of the JMC for the MF Oilfield, Geng Xianliang, ZPEC Senior Vice President, and members of the company's JMC attended the meeting.

During the meeting, ZPEC representatives provided a detailed overview of the company's overall development and presented a comprehensive report on the current progress of the EBN and MF oilfields. They also proposed suggestions for the specific agenda of the first JMC meeting. After thorough discussions, the meeting unanimously approved ZPEC's proposal to hold the first formal JMC meeting for the two oilfields by the end of the month.

With the official launch of the Iraqi oilfield projects, ZPEC is expected to make significant contributions to local economic development and energy supply. This will further solidify ZPEC's market position in the Middle East.
