In 2024, ZPEC Aksu Oil Field achieved an impressive "Report Card," with annual oil and gas production exceeding 700,200 tons of oil equivalent. This satisfactory annual performance made a significant contribution to the Group’s annual oil and gas production, surpassing one million tons of oil equivalent.

Under the correct leadership of the group company in 2024, the development of ZPEC Aksu Oil Field showed overall positive performance. The Integrated Team fully implemented the group’s work deployment, continuously strengthened foundational research, gained new insights in oil and gas exploration, further accelerated capacity building, intensified efforts in tapping the potential of mature fields, and elevated annual oil and gas production to a new level. The water injection pilot in the Wenbei Oil Field has shown initial success, effectively controlling the natural decline rate of the oil field. At the same time, the team strengthened technological innovation, developed a comprehensive development database, enhanced reservoir dynamic data monitoring, and supported reservoir research and oil field development.

With the new year comes new momentum and ZPEC Aksu Oil Field is already busy mapping out a “new blueprint”. Li Xuesong, the Senior Vice President of the ZPEC Group and General Manager of ZPEC (Aksu) Oil & Gas Company, stated that in 2025, ZPEC Aksu Oil Field would firmly establish the concept of efficient exploration and profitable development, optimize well location deployment, meticulously organize and implement plans, achieve high production with fewer wells, strengthen formation energy replenishment, consolidate the development results of mature fields, solidify the foundation for stable production, intensify scientific research and field testing of new technologies, improve reservoir development management, and ensure the successful completion of all annual targets and tasks.
