On the afternoon of December 14th, Minister Zhang Tao from the Chinese Embassy in Egypt, Minister Zhao Liuqing from the Commercial Section, and Police Liaison Officer Su Dongxu visited the ZPEC Egypt Aswan Project for research. They fully affirmed ZPEC’s outstanding achievements in Egypt’s livelihood projects by leveraging its drilling and management advantages and encouraged the company to continue to focus on the “Belt and Road” initiative to create more high-quality livelihood projects.

During the visit, Minister Zhang Tao and his delegation listened to the report by Zhao Wutao, the General Manager of ZPEC Egypt Company, on the company’s overview business and future development vision in Egypt. General Manager Zhao stated that under the strategic guidance of ZPEC Group, the company had been deeply cultivating the “Belt and Road” market and actively promoting its international development strategy, achieving many encouraging results in the fields of oil exploration and production, drilling engineering services, and oil equipment manufacturing. In recent years, ZPEC Egypt Company had won widespread recognition from customers by implementing several high-quality water well projects locally. This has helped Egypt’s economic development and livelihood improvement and has also further enhanced ZPEC’s international reputation and market competitiveness.

Minister Zhang Tao expressed his warm greetings to ZPEC Egypt Company, pointing out that as a private enterprise, ZPEC actively participates in the national “Belt and Road” initiative. While doing a good job in its own development, it has created several high-quality drilling livelihood projects in Egypt, making efforts to enhance the country’s international image and achieving results. He hoped that in the next step, the Company would fully grasp the favorable environment of upgrading China-Egypt relations, seek progress in stability, and calmly and confidently face the challenges in the new environment.

Zhao Wutao expressed his sincere gratitude to the leaders of the Chinese Embassy in Egypt for their care and support for ZPEC Egypt Company. He stated that the company would keep its mission in mind, clarify its positioning, fully leverage its advantages under the support of the Group, strive to create more livelihood projects in Egypt, and make new contributions to the international project cooperation of the “Belt and Road” initiative.
