On October 30, 2024, the 2024 Wellbore Drilling Fluid and Completion Fluid Technology Conference was held at ZPEC’s Shanghai Lingang Base. Over 90 renowned industry experts, scholars, and corporate representatives, including ZPEC Senior Vice President Ye Jifeng, Vice President Lu Xinzhou, Professor Yan Jienian from China University of Petroleum (Beijing), Professor Liu Yuqing from the Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration and Development, and Professor He Lun from Sichuan Petroleum Administration, shared the latest technological achievements in the field of wellbore drilling fluid and completion fluid.

At the conference, ZPEC Senior Vice President Ye Jifeng first introduced the basic situation of ZPEC, emphasizing the opportunities and adjustments provided by the new blocks in Iraq for ZPEC’s future development. Subsequently, ZPEC Vice President Lu Xinzhou provided a detailed introduction to ZPEC’s anti-collapse technology and patented products, and elaborated on the practical application cases of the patented products both domestically and internationally. Participants recognized ZPEC’s development in recent years and its achievements in drilling fluid and completion fluid, congratulating ZPEC on its rapid growth in the petroleum industry. Following this, several top industry experts and corporate representatives took to the stage to introduce the latest scientific research results in the fields of drilling fluid and completion fluid, as well as the performance characteristics and formulation composition of key treatment agents. These technologies and products play a crucial role in enhancing drilling efficiency, effectively protecting reservoirs, stabilizing wellbore walls, addressing drilling fluid applications under complex geological conditions, and selecting completion fluids for special well types.

After the conference, guests visited ZPEC’s Five-cylinder Pump Production Workshop and the fully intelligent test yard, giving positive evaluations of the company’s manufacturing strength and level of intelligence.

This conference was hosted by the China Petroleum and Petrochemical Engineering Research Association, and co-organized by ZPEC Oil Services Company, highlighting the continuous rise of ZPEC’s status in the petroleum industry. The successful holding of this meeting not only showcased ZPEC’s capabilities and image to more experts and corporate representatives, but also promoted technical exchanges and close cooperation between different regions and enterprises.
