On September 7, at the 2024 Teachers' Day Celebration Conference held at Xinjiang Institute of Technology, Li Xuesong, the Vice President of ZPEC Group and General Manager of ZPEC (Aksu) Oil and Gas Company, received the Letter of Appointment from Zhou Yaozhi, the Secretary of the Party Committee, and officially joined the first batch of Industrial Professors of the school with a tenure of three years.

Zhou Yaozhi pointed out that the Industrial Professors employed this time mainly come from industry associations, heads of large enterprises, management and operation experts, and technological leading talents. This move is a new measure to explore the joint training of talents by schools and enterprises. It will build a new cooperation bridge between schools and enterprises to better connect the needs of the industry and the capabilities of education, deeply promote the integration of production and education, and form a joint force for educating people.

Li Xuesong said that ZPEC Group has a good cooperation foundation with Xinjiang Institute of Technology. With this appointment, he will earnestly perform his duties through activities such as special lectures, practical teaching, and professional guidance. He will continuously promote in-depth cooperation between the two parties in talent training, academic research, and technological innovation. Additionally, he will contribute to the cultivation of talents in colleges and universities. In the next step, ZPEC (Aksu) Oil and Gas Company will also further strengthen its connection with the school, promote the integration and fusion of teaching, scientific research, and economy, realize the effective docking of educational resources and industrial needs, and provide support for the high-quality development of the regional economy and society.

Xinjiang Institute of Technology is located in Aksu City and focuses on the cultivation of applied talents. It is one of the key cooperative colleges and universities of the company in Xinjiang. With the development and construction of Aksu Oilfield, ZPEC has recruited many outstanding graduates from this school.
