Recently, three companies of ZPEC, ZPEC Group, ZPEC Equipment Group, and ZPEC Drilling Company, successfully passed the 2023 Shanghai High-tech Enterprise Certificate Renewal Review and received the certificates. This certification is a recognition of ZPEC’s technological innovation, high R&D growth, and broad development prospects, which will push ZPEC scientific and technological innovation work to new heights.

High-tech Enterprise Certification is a special, qualified certification established by the State to support and encourage the development of high-tech enterprises, adjust industrial structure, and enhance national economic competitiveness. It involves the company's core independent intellectual property rights, the ability to transform scientific and technological achievements, and the organization and management of research and development. Comprehensive assessment and identification of growth indicators and talent structure, which required layers of screening and the review, is quite strict. Previously, ZPEC Group, ZPEC Equipment Group, and ZPEC Drilling Company passed their certifications for the first time in 2008, 2009, and 2013 respectively. This certification is a renewal audit after the expiration of 3 years.

In recent years, ZPEC has adhered to the concept of "Mineral Resources + Technological Innovation" and given full play to the ingenuity of scientific and technological workers, which has achieved very impressive results in oil and gas exploration and development, drilling engineering services, and high-end equipment manufacturing. It has developed high-end intelligent petroleum equipment such as automated catwalks, intelligent off-line drilling rigs, "Jinpeng" drilling robots, "Danke" five-cylinder drilling pumps, serial top drives and their supporting products. Thus, forming a company with an annual oil and gas equivalent output of 1 million tons production capacity. Additionally, it has developed a series of unique drilling supporting technologies such as deep and ultra-deep wells, long horizontal wells, polar cold environments, desert large borehole water well drilling technology, etc., creating a series of new records for oil and gas exploration and production, and drilling engineering technology. While establishing a good brand, it has also further enhanced the core competitiveness of the market.
