At 8:00 pm on February 21, 2024, as the Hong 52-13 Well, drilled by ZPEC Rig 14 in Aksu Oilfield, Xinjiang Province, reached a depth of 2,610 meters, the annual drilling footage of this exceeded the 10,000-meter mark in one fell swoop, becoming the first drilling team of ZPEC to reach this mark at home and abroad.

 Since the beginning of this year, in order to speed up the work of increasing reserves and production in the Aksu Oilfield, ZPEC Drilling Company mobilized 7 rigs. They scrambled and chased each other all day long, and the production timeliness set a new record under the premise of ensuring safety. Among them, ZPEC Rig 14 performed particularly well, all the team’s cadres and employees strengthened the measures with the belief of "starting with a sprint, starting with a decisive battle" and worked steadily. This greatly improved the drilling efficiency, reduced operating costs, and ensured construction safety. ​

 During the drilling operation, the team attached great importance to the innovative application of drilling technology, safety, and environmental protection work. They protected the oil and gas layers to the greatest extent, achieved green drilling and safe drilling, and became the "leader" in improving speed and efficiency of all of the drilling companies.

In the next step, Rig 14 will continue to carry forward the spirit of Zhongman's "Iron-Blooded Journey" and strengthen refined management, continuously overcoming difficulties, and reaching new achievements in increasing reserves and production of the Aksu Oilfield.
