On February 8, 2024, the 2023 Annual HSE Commendation Meeting at Iraq’s Majnoon Oilfield was held at the FCC Building. ZPEC Rig 18 stood out from 22 contractors and won second place in the Oilfield and first place among the international companies. Mr. Abdullah, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Petroleum of Iraq, personally awarded medals and certificates to ZPEC Rig 18 to express his gratitude to ZPEC for its contribution to the Majnoon Oilfield.

At the meeting, Mr. Abdullah, delivered a passionate speech, highly praised ZPEC and other companies for their excellent performance in HSE in 2023, and expressed his heartfelt thanks to all contractors involved in the management and construction of the oilfield. He hoped that all contractors would learn from each other and work hard to bring their work to a new level.

At the commendation meeting, Mr. Song Erhui, the Deputy General Manager of ZPEC Oilfield Services, said, “As a multinational enterprise, ZPEC HSE System draws on the advantages of internationally renowned oil companies in safety management. It incorporates ZPEC’s unique “Iron-blooded Journey” culture and has created a team that can overcome difficulties and fight tough battles.
