On January 8, 2024, the General Manager of PUNA, the Africa subsidiary of Poland's PGNiG Company, Mr. Szymon Drzewakowski, and his delegation, visited the ZPEC headquarters in Shanghai, where they discussed with ZPEC's Senior Vice President Ye Jifeng and other leaders on deepening oilfield integration cooperation and drilling engineering services. Both parties stated that, in the future, they would further expand the scope of cooperation and deepen the level of cooperation on the basis of past cooperation to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.     

The four people from PGNiG, including Szymon Drzewakowski, the General Manager and Bogdan Jacek Miciula, the Drilling Manager, joined Ye Jifeng, the ZPEC Senior Vice President, Chen Qingju, the Vice President of ZPEC and General Manager of Central Asia Energy Company Manager, Fu Jiancheng, the General Manager of the ZPEC Drilling Engineering Division, Zhu Acheng, the Deputy General Manager of the ZPEC Oilfield Division, and other leaders at the meeting.

Ye Jifeng warmly welcomed the arrival of the General Manager of PGNiG and his delegation. He gave a brief introduction of ZPEC’s Drilling Engineering Services, Equipment Manufacturing, and oil field development, etc. He said that ZPEC, as a private enterprise, has actively participated in oil and gas exploration, development, and production. It is the first private enterprise to obtain an oil and gas exploration license and domestic upstream oil and gas exploration rights in China. He hoped to cooperate with PGNiG on overseas oilfield integration and engineering services. Subsequently, Szymon Drzewakowski introduced PGNiG’s background and main business in detail, and looked forward to all-round cooperation in drilling packages and other aspects in the future.

 After the meeting, Szymon Drzewakowski and his delegation visited the ZPEC equipment manufacturing facitlity and the rig assembly yard, where the two parties had warm exchanges and friendly interactions.

Its parent company, Orlen, mainly provides oil and gas detection, exploitation, and sales.
