On December 28, Wang Xinqi, Director of the Public Security Department of the Lingang New Area of Shanghai Free Trade Zone, and his delegation visited the ZPEC Headquarters for investigation. They discussed with Chairman Li Chundi and other ZPEC leaders on strengthening exchanges, interactions, service support, etc.  The two parties reached consensus on establishing a regular communication mechanism.

Chairman Li Chundi extended a warm welcome at the arrival of Director Wang Xinqi and his delegation, and expressed his gratitude to the public security system for creating a safe and stable entrepreneurial environment. After understanding the development history and business characteristics of ZPEC, Director Wang Xinqi fully affirmed ZPEC’s achievements, especially in implementing the “Belt and Road Initiative” and in terms of national energy security and the construction of the Lingang New Area. He said he highly appreciated contributions made by ZPEC. He introduced the Public Security Department’s organizational structure, functional positioning and responsibilities, and tasks. He hoped to better understand the specific needs and practical difficulties of ZPEC in its business development through this visit and survey.  He said that he would use the survey as a starting point to establish a regular communication mechanism and to jointly make new contributions to building a safe and happy Lingang.

Chairman Li introduced the operating status, industrial layout and development plan of ZPEC, and pointed out that the Lingang New Area has a first-class entrepreneurial environment. He said the company had completed its entire process from listing to strategic transformation in Lingang, was willing to take root there in the future to contribute to the local area, and to make greater contributions to the construction and development of the country. He hoped to strengthen communication with the Lingang New Area Public Security Department to provide more convenience for each other's work.

Yao Guicheng, the Senior Vice President of ZPEC, introduced to Wang Xinqi and his delegation the development strategy of ZPEC to take root in Lingang and Xinjiang, to deploy in Central Asia, and to radiate the “Belt and Road Initiative”. He pointed out that the company's development has always closely followed the national strategic direction and would continue to leverage its integration advantages in the future to expand and strengthen its main business at home and abroad and make greater contributions to national energy security.

At the meeting, the two parties also conducted exchanges on issues such as project security work and team personnel safety management. After the meeting, Director Wang Xinqi and his delegation visited the ZPEC Remote Production Command Center and the Drilling Rig Assembly Site to learn about drilling operations and intelligent equipment manufacturing.
