In the first half of this year, ZPEC Aksu Oilfield achieved First Phase success in reservoir improvement work. By June 30, ZPEC Aksu Oilfield had implemented reservoir improvement measures for 51 wells, increasing oil production by 173 tons per day, with an average oil increase of 3.4 tons per well, and a cumulative increase of 15,260 tons, thus winning the initiative for further production increase in the second half of the year.

With the continuous deepening of exploration and production, in view of the situation of poor reservoir development, thin thickness, poor physical properties, insufficient liquid supply capacity, and unobvious oil increase effect of ordinary conventional measures, the reservoir transformation leading group of ZPEC Wensu Project carried out targeted reservoir transformation measures according to the characteristics of different reservoirs in the Aksu Oilfield and the specific conditions of oil well production.

According to the introduction of Mr. Wang Shiyan , the Chief Expert of ZPEC (Aksu) Oil and Gas Company, through the comparison of the three scales of reservoir transformation, the findings of the effects of large-scale reservoir transformation are remarkable. In the second half of the year, it is planned to implement reservoir improvement measures for 42 well times and it is expected to increase production by 146 tons per day. Increasing the intensity of reservoir improvement can achieve a better effect of increasing reserves and production while creating good economic benefits.
