At 19:00 on May 24^th, Egyptian local time, the Water Well Rig 1 of the ZPEC Egypt Branch passed the inspection and acceptance of Party A in one attempt, and successfully spudded-in R36 Well in the Aswan area, opening the construction of ZPEC Water Well Project in Aswan.

The Aswan Water Well Project is located in the Sahara Desert. Party A of the Project plans to drill a total of 2,000 water wells in the Aswan area. The Phase 1 Contract will drill 70 wells, utilizing 3 drilling rigs, to ease the pressure on agricultural supply and demand. After receiving the order from Party A to relocate the drilling rigs on May 17, ZPEC Egypt carefully organized and actively coordinated resources to overcome various difficulties in the long-distance equipment relocation of more than 800 kilometers. The installation and commissioning of the drilling rig successfully passed the acceptance of Party A.

In recent years, ZPEC Egypt has participated in and successfully completed 6 large-scale water well engineering projects, making outstanding contributions to Egypt's agricultural construction. These successes were widely praised by the Egyptian people and reported many times by Xinhua News Agency and other official media.
