On March 24, 2023, the running bridge plug setting work, carried out by ZPEC KASEUM, was a complete success in the Daqing Oilfield’s Yuan 142-Fuping 12 Well. The pure electric setting tool, K-Set, replaced the traditional gunpowder setting tool with environmentally friendly, stable performance, safe and reliable, maintenance-free, and other technical advantages. The K-Set has won high praise from oilfield companies and operation partners, and achieved an "Aero" breakthrough in the operation of pure electric setting tools in horizontal wells in Northeast China!

Well Yuan 142-Fuping 12 is a tight oil development well in the No. 8 Oil Production Plant of the Daqing Oilfield. A total of 24 sections required multi-stage perforation construction with pumping bridge plugs. In order to ensure the smooth completion of the construction task, the ZPEC KASEUM Team carried out rigorous test preparations, including pressure resistance, temperature resistance, and seismic performance. In the end, all construction indicators and parameters exceeded the requirements of the construction well.

Multi-stage perforation with horizontal well-bridge perforation is a high-end perforation technology successively adopted by various oilfield companies in recent years. The successful application of the pure electric setting tool in the multi-stage perforation of the horizontal well bridge in Daqing Oilfield has further verified the maturity and reliability of the ZPEC KASEUM’s technology.
