At 7:00pm on March 10, 2023, Mr. Sun Jizhou, the Secretary of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Natural Resources Department of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and his party went to ZPEC Wensu Project for investigation. He gave full support and affirmation to ZPEC's active participation in the National Oil and Gas System Reform and its establishment as a successful model by the Ministry of Natural Resources. He said that the government would continue to support the follow-up work of oilfield development and construction, and help ZPEC Oil and Gas to accelerate the increase of reserves and production to achieve large-scale development.

Mr. Xiapakti Wushour, the Deputy Commissioner of the Aksu District Administrative Office, Mr. Yang Yong, the Secretary of the Party Group of the Aksu Regional Natural Resources Bureau, Mr. Xu Jiang, the Member of the Standing Committee of the Wensu County Party Committee and Deputy County Magistrate, and Mr.Li Xuesong, the Vice President of ZPEC Group and General Manager of ZPEC Oil and Gas, accompanied the investigation.

The investigation team came to the Wen 7 Oil Production Well Station in the Wen 7 Block of ZPEC Aksu Oilfield and listened to General Manager Li Xuesong’s report on the exploration, evaluation, construction, and development deployment of the Wenbei Oilfield. They held deep discussions with the on-site ZPEC Team on major discoveries, development and production status, and exploration potential.

Mr. Sun Jizhou fully affirmed ZPEC's achievements in oil and gas resources. He pointed out that ZPEC should earnestly practice the concept of "clear waters and green mountains as valuable as mountains of gold and silver", coordinate resource development, adhere to environmental protection and ecological governance, make green development concepts run through the whole process of resource development, and promote oilfield development and construction from a higher level. At the same time, we must always tighten the string of safety production, strictly implement safety production responsibilities, and accelerate exploration and development under the premise of ensuring safety first. These actions would truly transform the advantages of oil and gas resources into industrial advantages and economic development advantages, and help local economic quality development, ensuring the security of national energy resources.

 Mr. Li Xuesong said that ZPEC Oil & Gas will continue to rely on the group's integration advantages, based on Xinjiang's resource endowment and location advantages, and focus on the construction of strategic emerging industrial clusters for oil and gas production and processing, to help Xinjiang accelerate the construction of a modern industrial system, and actively participate in the construction of a national energy resource strategic guarantee base, deeply participate in the construction of the core area of the Silk Road Economic Belt. Further intensify the exploration and production of oil and gas, fully promote the increase of oil and gas reserves and production, increase the in-situ transformation of oil and gas resources, and contribute to the local economic development.
