On February 22, 2023, ZPEC Chairman Li Chundi, ZPEC Senior Vice President Ye Jifeng, and Li Shiguang visited Petro China Sales Company where they exchanged ideas on the cooperation of Zhongman Group's upstream natural gas and terminal city gas projects.

ZPEC Chairman Li introduced the development of ZPEC’s Wensu Oilfield in Xinjiang and the Tenge Oilfield in Kazakhstan. He focused on the current natural gas production, future natural gas reserves, production plans, and development prospects. He said that through the transformation of the upstream exploration and development business, ZPEC Group had obtained considerable natural gas reserves in the development of the oil and gas fields, and hoped to cooperate with China National Petroleum and Natural Gas Sales Company in the next steps of natural gas grid entry and replacement.

During the communication and exchange, Mr. Fu Bin, the Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Director of Petro China Sales Company, understood the details of ZPEC's current natural gas development and next-step development plan. He said that the two parties had a lot of space for cooperation in the natural gas business, and would arrange a team visit to the Wensu Oilfield to investigate the natural gas reserves, the production and gathering, and the transportation plans. Afterward, the two parties would communicate further for possible cooperative opportunities.

Mr. Zhang Fan, the Deputy General Manager of PetroChina Sales Company, Mr. Li Wei, the Director of the Party Committee Office, and Mr. Zhuang Xiaopeng, the General Manager of the Resource Purchasing Department attended the meeting.
