On February 13, 2023, good news came from the Sulige Gas Field in Inner Mongolia. The daily drilling footage of the Su 47-2-76 Well, drilled by ZPEC Rig 6, broke through the 1,000-meter mark and was highly affirmed by Party A. At the same time, the team also became ZPEC Drilling Companies’ first team with a daily drilling footage over 1,000 meters in 2023.

Su 47-2-76 is located in Bayanchaidamu Gacha, Chengchuan Town, Etuokeqian Banner, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is a gas development well with a design depth of 3,755 meters. The cadres and employees of ZPEC Rig 6 were not afraid of severe cold, wind, and snow. They carried out the safety risk assessment and hidden danger investigation in a timely manner and conducted comprehensive inspection and maintenance of key parts of key equipment to ensure that the equipment was safe and reliable.

As the first well constructed by ZPEC Rig 6 this year, the whole team attached great importance to it. Before spudding, they carefully studied the geology and engineering design, optimized the drill bits and the drilling parameters, and strictly implemented the 24 hour on-duty follow-up system, which ensured the safety and efficiency of the entire drilling process.
