At 4:00pm Iraqi local time, on February 5^th, ZPEC Rig 47 received the official Drilling Order from Party A for the BOC Completion and Workover Project in the Majnoon Oilfield. With the sound of the roaring engine, the drill bit slowly entered the well, marking ZPEC Rig 47’s official opening of the Majnoon Project.

ZPEC Rig 47 was launched during the rainy season in Iraq. The site was often filled with fog, which made it impossible for personnel to reach the well site due to road closures. They overcame these difficulties, took only 35 days for mobilization, and started drilling successfully on February 5, 2023, which once again broke the record of relocation and installation in the Majnoon Oilfield.
