At midnight on February 3, 2023, Iraqi local time, ZPEC Rig 22 successfully passed the inspection and acceptance of Petronas and ERIELL, and successfully spudded at the WPE well site in the Garraf Oilfield.

Since receiving the official notice from Party A on December 8, 2022, ZPEC Rig 22 Team has overcome a series of difficulties such as long-distance equipment relocation, pre-drilling construction in the rainy season, and infrastructure delays such as mud pools. Finally, by successfully passing Party A’s acceptance, they successfully spudded on February 3, 2023 with an excellent result of 57 days. During the commissioning, installation, and acceptance stages of the entire project, there were no safety accidents and there were no incidents of being stopped by Party A due to safety issues. Rig 22 Team truly achieved a "Safe, Fast, and Efficient" zero-accident start-up.
