On October 22, 2022, the daily footage of Well Su 48-16-75 in Sulige Gas Field, drilled by ZPEC Rig 6 Team, reached 1,186 meters, which set the record for the highest daily footage in the Sulige Gas Field’s Sudong Block 48, and was highly praised by Party A.

Well Sudong 48-16-75 is located in Sulidigacha, Ansu Town, Eoke Front Banner, Ordos, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is a gas development well with a design depth of 3740m. On the eve of spud in, the epidemic situation around the well was continuously upgraded. Considering the difficulties in organizing vehicles and materials, the Yan'an Project and the leaders of the drilling crew actively communicated with the local government and Party A.  They organized in advance and formulated an emergency plan in a timely manner to ensure diesel oil, mud materials, and other materials were in place before spud in.

In order to ensure the safe and efficient drilling of this well under the epidemic situation, the technical disclosure measures were strictly implemented during the drilling operations, the actual drilling data of off-set wells were carefully analyzed, the experience of the platform operation wells was summarized and analyzed, and the operational process of the whole well was deduced. Everything was organized, planned, and implemented. At the same time, the drill bits and parameters were optimized and the 24-hour supervision and guidance of on-site management were strengthened to ensure that there was no risk.
