Since the second quarter, the Marketing Team of ZPEC’s Drilling Engineering Sector has seized the opportunity provided by the improvement of the epidemic situation and the recovery of oil prices and have fought hard to grasp the opportunity and actively expand the market. The number of new contracts signed at domestic and abroad has surged, laying a solid foundation for the next rapid growth of the ZPEC Drilling Engineering Sector.

Through a series of market development strategy adjustments, the competitiveness of ZPEC in the domestic and overseas engineering markets has been effectively enhanced. Up to now, all ZPEC Iraqi drilling rigs have been restarted. The cooperative parties include BECL (formerly BP), ENI, Halliburton, Schlumberger, PETRONAS, Iraq Drilling Company (IDC) and other international well-known oil service enterprises. The business scope covers drilling turnkey projects, daily rate, single oil service, etc. As an important target market of the ZPEC Group, the North African Market Development Team was specifically set up at the beginning of this year. The people from ZPEC Engineering Marketing Department went to Libya and other countries for preliminary research and market preparation. They seized all market opportunities, overcame many difficulties, and then has achieved a breakthrough in the Libyan market!  Additionally, other ZPEC overseas clients who once withdrew due to COVID-19 protocols and various other works in the drilling engineering market were also greatly affected.

In order to reverse the situation as soon as possible, the Marketing Department studied carefully, revised and improved a series of internal control systems and market development reward and punishment policies, optimized and integrated the bidding supporting team, giving full play to the advantages of ZPEC’s collective combat advantage and greatly motivating the team.

In addition, the domestic market has also performed very well. From management to the basic-level leadership, they attached great importance to customers, deeply consolidated the old markets such as Yanchang Petroleum and Changqing Oilfield, actively explored new markets, and promoted ZPEC brands, thus realizing a good development trend of the drilling engineering sector.
