In September, the autumn sky in Aksu, Xinjiang is clear and the fresh air is crisp and full of the scent of fragrant melons and fruits, showing a bumper harvest everywhere. The good news frequently came from ZPEC Wenbei Oilfield as the two key horizontal wells, Wen 13-22 and Wen 13-21,drilled by ZPEC Rig 12 Team, were successfully completed 12.5 and 17.4 days ahead of schedule respectively.  While contributing to the increase of reserves and production in the oilfield, it has also accumulated rich experience for the future operation of shallow horizontal wells in the Jidike Formation.         

Well Wen 13-22 was completed at a depth of 1,705 meters, with a horizontal section of 221 meters. Well Wen 13-21 was completed at a depth of 1,605 meters, with a horizontal section of 217 meters.  The target layers of the two wells are Jidike 2 and Jidike 1 respectively. Among them, the Wen 13 platform is the first horizontal well platform in the Jidike Group in the Wenbei Oilfield.  In the absence of experience to learn from, ZPEC Drilling Company and Wensu Project leaders attached great importance to these wells. They went to the well sites many times for investigation and sent more elite troops to set up a technical research team stationed at the wells to ensure that the drilling operation was foolproof.
