On the afternoon of September 2, 2022, Mr. Zhang Shuwen, the Deputy Commissioner of the Xinjiang Aksu Regional Administration, arrived at ZPEC (Aksu) Oil and Gas Company for investigation. He listened to the Company's report on the results and the next development plan of the exploration and production of the ZPEC Wensu Oilfield in Aksu Region, Xinjiang Province. Mr. Zhang encouraged ZPEC to make persistent efforts to continuously increase oil and gas exploration and development in order to make greater contributions to Aksu's economic and social development. Mr. Wang Kegong, the Director of the Regional Oil Area Service Coordination Center, and Mr. Li Xuesong, the General Manager of ZPEC (Aksu) Oil and Gas Company, also accompanied Mr. Zhang.

At the meeting, Mr. Wu Chao, the Deputy Chief Geologist and Manager of Geological Reservoir Department of ZPEC (Aksu) Oil and Gas Company, introduced the exploration and production process of the Wensu Block as well as the important achievements to date.  He gave a report of the recent oil and gas exploration and reserves discovery, ground engineering construction, the second phase of 3D seismic integration project implementation, etc., including the progress of the key tasks.

Knowing the gratifying progress of Aksu Oilfield, Mr. Zhang said, “ZPEC (Aksu) Oil & Gas, as a model for the reform of the mining rights system not only in the Aksu Region, but also in the whole country, must continue to play a demonstrative leading role and continuously make new breakthroughs in the process of oil and gas exploration and production. ZPEC (Aksu) Oil & Gas should continue to be the "Vanguard" of the oil and gas reform, continuously increase oil and gas exploration and production degree, increase production capacity, and continue to contribute to local economic development and national energy security.”  He added that the governmental departments would also vigorously support the development of enterprises and focus on solving the difficulties and problems encountered by enterprises in the process of increasing reserves and production and project construction, so as to create a good environment for mutual development.
