Recently, good news came from the Wensu Project, in Xinjiang Province, ZPEC (Aksu) Oil and Gas Company completed the crude oil production plan for the first half of the year four days ahead of schedule, with the joint efforts of the Zhongman Group Integrated Team. Which laid a solid foundation for the high-quality development of the Group's exploration and production business.

Since the beginning of 2022, ZPEC (Aksu) Oil and Gas Company seized the favorable opportunity of high oil prices, closely focused on the goal of "Increasing reserves and production, improving quality and efficiency", scientifically making plans, deploying layout in advancing, and launching a continuous production competition. The teams of geology, drilling, production, surface construction, and oil production in Wenbei Oilfield worked closely together to give full play to the integrated advantages of Zhongman Group, achieved steady progress in exploration and production, accelerated production and operation, and exceeded production and operation goal in the first half of the year.

In order to build large-scale production capacity as soon as possible and ensure that crude oil production would “Go Up” and “Maintain Stability”, the company accelerated the production capacity construction of 30 million tons of proven reserves in Wen 7 Block in the first half of the year.  The 16 cluster wells constructed, the 97 development wells drilling completed, among them 79 have been put into production, enabled the production to increase significantly. It also has continued to carry out supporting research on key development technologies, and completed 40 well-times of various measures such as acidizing, hole patching, and plugging, which helps to increase 12,000 tons oil cumulatively.

In order to consolidate the foundation for stable production of the oilfield, the company took a series of production enhancement measures to improve the level of development and management, supplement formation energy, control the natural decline, and improve recovery.

At the same time, ZPEC also organized and completed the second phase of the 3D seismic field acquisition, actively promoted 3D seismic interpretation, and obtained the comprehensive geological evaluation.  This bought time for the deployment and implementation of exploration wells in the second half of the year. Through the open minds and meticulous research by each unit, the company achieved fruitful results in the peripheral exploration work. A new reserve increase position opened up, which provided strong support for the completion of ZPEC’s annual production task.
