On July 20, 2022, the YK29-20H2 well drilled by the ZPEC Rig 9 Team reached 145 meters in a single day during the fourth section drilling, setting a new record for the highest daily footage in the horizontal section of YB 113-133. Yanbei Project of SCP Oilfield Services immediately sent a congratulatory letter and awarded ZPEC Rig 9 Team a reward of 50,000 yuan.

Well YK29-20H2 is located in Zichang County, Yan'an City, northern of Shaanxi Province. The Well was spuded on May 31, 2022, and the fourth drilling section started on July 19. In order to ensure the safety, stability and efficiency of the operation, technical experts from ZPEC Yan’an Project and ZPEC Drilling Company are stationed on the well site to provide drilling support, breaking the record of the highest daily footage in the horizontal section.
