On July 13, 2022, Zhongman Petroleum Engineering Technology Service (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd., (ZPEC Hongkong), a 100% subsidiary of ZPEC, and Eriell Oilfield Services B.V., signed a contract for providing cementing services for 16 wells in the Garraf Oilfield, Iraq.

Benefiting from the excellent execution of the last integrated contract for 19 wells in the Garraf Oilfield from February 2019 to April 2022, this time the cementing services contract was signed smoothly. During the last project, the ZPEC Cementing Team adopted a batches operation practice in the beginning.  They continuously optimized wellbore trajectory, drilling fluid performances, casing centering design, cement slurry formulation, and other technical measures. This enabled a summed up a set of compound cementing technical solutions which were suitable for long extended wells with active bottom water in the production layers. This incremental and stable improvement of cementing quality set new records for many wells cementing quality in the Garraf Oilfield and was highly praised by Party A.
