On June 24, 2022, Zhongman Petroleum Engineering Technology Service (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd., (ZPEC Hongkong), a 100% subsidiary of ZPEC, and Halliburton Worldwide Limited-Iraq, signed an 8+4 wells drilling service contract on a daily rate base.

Since 2017, ZPEC and Halliburton have been working with each other for many drilling and completion projects. Both parties have very good cooperation with each other. The operating area this time is located in the Majnoon Oilfield, which is to the east of Basra, Iraq. Majnoon Oilfield is one of the richest oilfields in the world, with an estimated 38 billion barrels of oil in place. ZPEC has been operating in this area for many years and has rich experiences. ZPEC Team 29, which will take the operational task this time, has been operating in this oilfield for more than 5 years.
