On June 17, 2022, Shanghai Zhongman Offshore Oil Engineering Services Co., Ltd. (ZOOE), a 100% subsidiary company of ZPEC Group which is mainly providing of drilling and completion engineering services, held a Three-day API SPEC Q2 training at ZPEC’s Shanghai Lingang Base. Through this training, the management and technical personnel's understanding of the API Q2 Quality Management System was enhanced, greatly improving the company's quality management abilities.

At present, ZOOE has built a complete set of API Q2 systems, and its projects at home and abroad have been running smoothly. This training was provided by an expert of the API Association, Mr. Zhang Min. The training explained the specifications and requirements of the Q2 Quality Management System in accordance with the API audit requirements, using actual cases to help students digest and absorb what they learned. Through this training, everyone deepened their understanding of the standard services specifications and laid a good foundation for the next API Q2 Certificate application and qualifying process.

API SPEC Q2 is the specification for Quality Management System Requirements for service supply organizations for the petroleum and natural gas industries.  It establishes the quality system requirements necessary for service supply organizations to consistently and reliably provide services that meet customer, legal, and other applicable requirements. This specification applies to service-related activities in oil and gas well construction, intervention, production, and abandonment, as well as repair, maintenance, and configuration of service-related products. When the company obtains the API Q2 Certificate, it will significantly enhance the ZOOE’s competitiveness in the international market.
