At 1:00 a.m. Iraq local time on March 10, 2022, the last well, Ga-K121P, drilled by Rig 25 in the Garraf Oil Field of Iraq, was successfully completed 2.4 days ahead of plan. With an excellent performance, which was highly praised by Party A Petronas, it laid a good foundation for the company's business development in this oilfield.

The Ga-k121P Well, the sixth well to be drilled by Rig 25 in the Garraf Oil Field since the resumption of work in March 2021 and the last well under contract, is currently at 3rd spud-in’s casing running stage. During the process of drilling, the mud engineer continuously optimized the mud formula and quickly drilled while ensuring the safety of the well. He fully cooperated in the orientation process, adding sufficient lubricant to ensure the smooth progress of the directional work. In the operation of the equipment, the team strictly adhered to the equipment inspection system, doing a good job in advance of the inspection and replacement of vulnerable parts.  They continuously maintained the equipment, reported and rectified the problems in a timely manner, thus ensuring the normal operation of the equipment and providing support for the production. Under the premise of safety, the operational timelines were improved and cost reduction and efficiency improvements were truly achieved.

Affected by the epidemic, the on-site personnel in the Garraff Oil Field couldn’t work normally. Many employees had been at their posts for more than a year.  In the face of various difficulties in work and life, all the employees of Rig 25 worked together and full of energy.  This won a good reputation for the company in the block and demonstrated the strength of the ZPEC brand.

Li Peishui, Rig Manager of Rig 25, said that in the future work, he hoped that all the members of Rig 25 would continue to carry forward the excellent style of "Zhongman Iron Blood Journey", actively implement the call for “cost reduction and efficiency improvement” proposed by the group, take "fine management and cost reduction, continuous acceleration, and efficiency increase" as the core goal under the premise of safety, conscientiously perform the duties of each post, and continuously carry forward the brand of ZPEC in overseas markets.
