To enhance the safety awareness of employees, improve self-rescue and mutual rescue skills, and protect the health of employees, on February 18^th, Aksu Zhongman Oil and Gas Company invited lecturers from the Red Cross Society of the Aksu Region to provide special training of first aid knowledge and first responder certification. More than 50 people from Aksu Zhongman Oil and Gas Company, Oil Service Company, Drilling Company, Equipment Company, Downhole Operation Center, and other integrated units participated in the training.

During the training process, the Red Cross Society instructors taught the basic knowledge of the purpose and principles of first aid, the procedures and precautions of first aid, etc. to the on-site staff and carried out practical exercises around the knowledge and skills of first aid in emergency states, such as traumatic bandaging, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and the use of automatic external defibrillators, and achieved good results. Subsequently, from the three dimensions of "teaching", "acting", and "practicing", the basic operation points of CPR were explained and demonstrated in detail.  The staff was guided to carry out dummy practical exercises one-by-one and a comprehensive and vivid first-aid skills training course was given to everyone. All of the participants at the scene actively participated in the training and mastered the practical operation of CPR with the help of medical staff.

This training adopts the form of a combination of knowledge explanation and on-site demonstration, so that employees can personally experience and participate while learning knowledge. Combined with the fact that most of the employees are engaged in field work, the lecturer introduced several simple first-aid techniques to everyone for a targeted purpose. In order to facilitate everyone's understanding, trainees were invited to the stage to cooperate with the demonstration, displaying the operational essentials on the spot.  They were guided to interact together and to practice while learning. The trainees generally reflected that they mastered both the first-aid skills, and also some knowledge of the prevention of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, which was very practical. The trainees unanimously praised the training. Chen Lei, the safety supervisor of the oil production area of Aksu Zhongman Oil and Gas Company, remarked, "Through this emergency rescue training, I have gained a lot. In case of emergency, I will be able to deal with it without fear, grasp the golden rescue time, and bring great benefits to my actual life and work in the future." Song Chengwei, the head of the oil production area of Zhongman Oil and Gas Company, said, "Today's first aid training has benefited me a lot, both comprehensive and practical. I have photographed many of them and I have countermeasures in case of emergencies in the future."

Through this training, more and more employees personally experienced the details and difficulty of emergency rescue, understood and mastered the basic emergency rescue and first-aid knowledge, further improved the theoretical basis and practical level of the company's emergency rescue work, and provided a strong guarantee for the life safety of all employees. After the training, the participating employees will conduct an on-site assessment and, after passing, they will be issued a "First Responder Card".
