At 12:51 Iraq local time on January 20th, R-741 Well of ZPEC’s Iraq BP Project was drilled to a well depth of 2,538 meters with a drilling cycle of only 14.79 days.  This created the shortest record since ZPEC entered the Rumaila Oilfield in 2018 and it was highly recognized by Party A.

Well R-741, which was drilled by Rig 26, is the first well located in the North Rumaila Oilfield in the second phase of the BP Project. Since the drilling was started on January 5th, all employees of Rig 26 strictly implemented the requirements of both Party A and ZPEC’s Iraq Branch, achieving safe and efficient construction including zero pandemic infections.

It is understood that since entering Rumaila Oilfield, ZPEC has drilled 20 wells with a cumulative footage of 54,500 meters, thus creating good economic benefits for Party A.
