2021 was an extraordinary year in the development of ZPEC. With the normalization of the pandemic situation and the recovery of the international oil and gas industry, a large number of cadres and employees have overcome difficulties, united, and forged ahead, with outstanding performance and important contributions. In order to set an example and motivate employees, on January 18th, ZPEC held its 2022 Annual Work Conference. The award-winning advanced collectives, outstanding contribution units, and advanced individuals were grandly commended, which further encouraged the morale of all employees.

Accompanied by cheerful music, the ZPEC Group leaders stepped onto the rostrum and presented awards to the representatives of advanced collectives and employees. Medals, certificates, and words of encouragement affirmed their hard work and encouraged them to attain greater achievements in the new year, which won warm applause from the participants.
The award winners were all selected through layers of recommendations, with 18 outstanding contributions and advanced collectives and 244 advanced individuals. Included were excellent project managers, platform managers, engineers, ace drillers, technicians, etc., which reflects on the company's emphasis on front-line management and technological and operational positions.  Special awards, such as advanced market development, advanced safety work, and outstanding propagandists were also recognized. In addition, 14 outstanding international employees from overseas branches such as Iraq, Russia, Egypt, and Pakistan were also on the list.

At the meeting, Li Xuesong, General Manager of Aksu Company, Shao Fei, Deputy General Manager of the Russian branch, and Guo Hongwei, Drilling Director of the Iraqi company, spoke on behalf of the advanced group respectively. They summarized the work achievements of the unit in the past year, expressed their deep gratitude to the company leaders and colleagues, and said that they would continue to lead the team to create more benefits in the new year.  Huangfu Zihong, Director of LWD of ZPEC Oil Service, an advanced personal representative, reported his unforgettable experience of successfully completing directional construction of 12 wells with his colleagues during his 300-odd days in Iraq.  He said that he would continue to contribute to the company development of the Group through his unremitting efforts.
